As the global health crisis continues to disrupt the physical workplace and forces employers to change their approach to workforce management, the platform gives companies the tools and processes to maintain business continuity and prepare for the workforce of the future.

MHR International, an international provider of technology-based HR and payroll solutions to better connect the world’s workforces, today announced the U.S. launch of People First Connect, its cloud-based workplace solution that enables collaboration, teamwork and shared purpose.

"Employers are scrambling to scale remote teams and encourage motivation, collaboration and a sense of community. If it isn't apparent yet, it will soon become obvious how underserviced companies are by current workplace collaboration solutions," said Anton Roe, CEO, MHR International. "Remote working is not just about the work. Many factors influence the effectiveness of remote productivity, from daily wellbeing checks to a strong sense of shared purpose. As some employees return to the office while others remain remote, People First Connect will continue to bridge that gap and will scale to meet the ongoing needs of companies.”

Purpose-built for remote work

People First Connect exemplifies how collaboration and team building can be sustained without a physical work environment through purpose-driven behavior and communication. As a result, the business as a whole benefits, as organizational silos are broken down, company loyalty is reinforced, retention is supported, and productivity levels increase.

People First Connect is the latest module in the larger People First platform, a comprehensive digital HR and integrated payroll solution established in 2017. It enters the U.S. market as part of the company's international expansion strategy. Key advantages include:

  • Integration: People First Connect integrates easily and agnostically with a company's Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and other broader business applications to help employees stay connected, contribute and collaborate across the organization. It allows routine tasks to be automated, optimizes the user experience and integrates with calendar and email platforms.
  • Measurement: The platform enables businesses to measure how communication is received, engaged with, commented on and liked.
  • Fast Implementation: Easy to implement, People First Connect can be up and running in 24 hours.
  • Access: All employees, no matter where they are located, are connected in one place via the device of their choice. Secure and accessible 24/7, it connects people wherever they are.

“People First Connect is a fun and engaging way to get staff buy-in and really use it. Our team is fully engaged with the platform, making it an incredible way for them to collaborate more effectively,” said Claire Dugan, Deputy Executive Director, Skateistan.

MHR's U.S. operations are headquartered in the center of all things Chicago and technology: 1871’s space at The Merchandise Mart. The company chose Chicago for its central location, welcoming business community and leaders, and focus on HR tech. MHR offers People First Connect through its established Chicago-area partners.
